The stair lift is powered by your home electricity and should be plugged in with a regular outlet. Lastly, stair lifts also have a call and send button, that will move the chair without a rider, which means you won’t get caught in the unlucky circumstance of being without your stair lift.
Most stair lifts will range in price from three to five thousand dollars for a standard or simple curved model. But custom stair lifts can become more expensive and over ten thousand dollars. Generally, insurance such as Medicare will not pay for a stair lift. But there are some insurance providers that will cover part of the cost.
